Welcome to the South Bay Golf Club
We are pleased with your interest in joining the SCGA affiliated South Bay Golf Club. This club is dedicated in having the tournaments and prizes that you, the members, want. We are going to have midweek and weekend tournaments to try to accommodate everyone's schedules. We want members to meet one another but we also want to provide members a chance to play with their friends.
There will be many awards during the year like Player of the Year. There will also be a Hole-In-One Club with a big cash payoff for anyone lucky enough to ace a hole.
The cost of membership is $70. Half of this amount goes to the SCGA for maintaining your handicap for the year. They provide you with a Handicap Index Card, a subscription to Fore Magazine, Southern California Directory of Golf, and discounts at the SCGA Rancho California Golf Club.
There will be a board of directors for the club which consists of the President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. There will be appointments to the following chairs: Handicap Chair, Member Chair, Rules Chair, and Tournament Chair. We have temporary filled the spots for the board, and the board will handle the chairs for the rest of this year. We will have an election for next years board.
